We Have Opened a Shop!

We are excited to announce that we have opened our own small brick and mortar shop at 640 Thames Street in Newport. Our shop/office - our SH-OFFICE - is located all the way down Thames Street near Narragansett Avenue in the heart of the Fifth Ward neighborhood.

We are so lucky to be able to set up a small shop for our Newport Sea Salt! First off, we wouldn’t be here without YOU our loyal customers and second, we wouldn’t be here without our friend/realtor, Shari Dailey of Lila Delman for finding us our first Newport Sea Salt home. Thank you, Shari!

Back in March 2024, we signed the lease for 640 Thames Street and started right away thinking how to make this space ours. We moved a few pieces and knick knacks from our home…Matt asked if I wanted to move in too. Just kidding. Then our Newport Sea Salt line filled in nicely from there. (We are a prior military family and experienced 7 moves from east coast to west coast to Italy. We are used to repurposing furniture and making things work!)

Currently, we are carrying our Newport Sea Salt line of jars and pouches plus our cocktail tins and pinch tins. I will be offering ‘The Baker and Sea Salt Maker’ Chocolate Chip cookies on select days. Also, we have a few companion items from our favorite New England small businesses - Noon Designs tea towels and Mystic Knotworks coasters, but mostly it’s a space dedicated to our Newport Sea Salt.

I recently shared our opening on our social media accounts and had so many of you message us with well wishes on this next part of our salty adventure and stop in to congratulate us. We so appreciate all of you and thank you for your continued support! Thank YOU for being part of our Newport Sea Salt crew!
